Matchy-Matchy Is Boring

As a personal stylist my rule of thumb is this: It's perfectly acceptable to mix and match different colors and styles of shoes and purses. It can even add an interesting and unique touch to your outfit. There are a few reasons why your shoes don't have to match your entire outfit:

1. Adding a pop of color or a contrasting shade with your shoes can create a stylish and eye-catching look.

2. Sometimes matching your shoes with your outfit can be too matchy-matchy and lack creativity. Everything doesn't have to be color-coordinated.

3. It allows for more versatility in your wardrobe and the ability to mix and match different pieces.

4. It can also be a way to showcase a favorite pair of shoes, even if they don't perfectly match the rest of your outfit.

Overall, it's all about personal preference and what makes you feel confident and comfortable in your own person style. Life is too short to worry about pleasing everyone else. Do you. Switch it up! Mix it up! Then turn it up!
